You lay in your hospital bed on the 7th floor, the white wristband on your wrist showed that you were different from most patients. Silent footsteps paced just outside your room. You looked into the mirror, your cheeks that were once full of life, now pale. Your face which broke into a smile almost everyday, now expressionless.
"_______?" Slowly you diverted your attention from the window to the owner of the voice, and slowly you forced a smile for the person in front of you.
"Oh, you didn't say you were coming...Armin." The blonde in question chuckled before holding out a basket of fruits in his hand.
"I wanted to surprise you, and anyways...I thought I should bring these over to you." You nodded as you watched him take the chair and place it next to you.
"Thank you, Armin." He smiled at you before picking an apple from the basket and slowly started to peel it.
"Of course, I'd do anything for you. _____." Behind that smile of his, sorrow welled up in his heart. Seeing you frail and weak, it just didn't seem right.
"Here you go." He handed you a plate full of freshly peeled apple slices, his pure blue eyes shining in concern. You smiled at him and took one form the plate, mumbling a thank you before slowly munching on the apple.
"Oh and I've got another surprise for you _____!" He immediately stood up and walked towards the door, "wait here." He went out and soon after a few grumbles and a silent argument later, the door opened again and behind the blonde stood Rivaille, his eye twitching in annoyance.
"Yo." He leaned on the door frame, only bothering to glance at you once before looking out the door, his arms folded across his chest.
"I thought you might want to see him, he came back from France last night. As soon as I heard, I begged him to come with me to visit you today." Armin chuckled a bit before sitting back down.
"It's great to see you too, Rivaille." Your voice showing slight happiness.
"It brings back memories huh? When the three of us would play doctor. Only difference was that Rivaille just pretended to be a doctor." You grinned at the memory, when you were all little kids. The laughter ringing in your ears.
"______?" Armin looked at you with worried eyes. You blinked once, then twice. Then a loud growl was heard from behind the both of you.
"I'm hungry, go get me something to eat, since you were the one that dragged me all the way out here." Rivaille's charcoal gray eyes stared into Armin's blue orbs, telepathically commanding him.
"Y-Yeah, sure...I'll leave you two...to catch up..." Armin quickly ran out of the room. Rivaille took Armin's seat and slowly took your hand in his.
"I can tell you're afraid...You don't have to hide it from me..." His charcoal gray eyes glared at you, you took your hand away and looked out of the window.
"I haven't found that medicine that could cure you in France either...I've looked everywhere...I visited the neighboring countries...set sail to islands...but I came back empty handed...I promised you that when I return I would've found a cure, but when Armin told me you were transferred to this floor, I had to come back." You placed a hand on his mouth, stopping him from talking any more.
"Rivaille, you seem out of character like that...shape up a bit will you?" You faked another smile, but you knew it wouldn't work on him. Rivaille suddenly stood up, the chair fell backwards at the sudden force.
"How can you be so laid back when your life is in front of your eyes? How could y-" He stopped from his sudden outburst as he saw the troubled look on your face, the way your orbs shined as though you were about to break.
"This floor was meant for people who were meant to live the remainder of their lives in isolation, slowly dying without the warmth of the family and friends. I never thought I'd come to this point, but a few years back when I visited the hospital more often than before...I knew it was all coming to an end...That's why...I would like you and Armin to stop visiting me after today...I want to die...alone..." You whispered the last part before bringing the blankets closer to your body. Rivaille was about to speak, when someone else spoke for him.
"Like we'd leave you alone to die!! I thought we were friends ____!" You and Rivaille looked over at the door and there stood Armin his brows furrowed together.
"What he said. We can't leave you alone, ___." The two boys sat beside your bed, the mattress dipping slightly with the extra weight. They took your hands in theirs and gripped it tight, Armin leaned forward and looked at you intently, Rivaille's eyes stayed glued to you as you watched them.
"But...there's no hope that I-"
"Then we'll give you hope."

There was no guarantee for a happy ending...but with princes like these...
There was indeed a change of heart.

Jealous!Armin x Reader
You were walking with Eren. You along with everyone else in the Scouting Legion had just finished a mission, and for once it went surprisingly well. Almost no one got injured, except for an unlucky few. You just had a scratch on your forehead from accidentally whacking yourself in the face with your blades.
“Let me see.” Eren said, putting his hand on your cheek and forcing you look at him. He got dangerously close to your face, taking a good look at the wound you inflicted on yourself. Footsteps could be heard and a certain blonde didn’t look happy.
“Eren! Get your hands off of her!” The blonde, Armin

Inexplicable [Armin x reader]
With a pile of books stacked on your arms you stumbled from one side to the other, careful not the let any of the books drop on the floor, searching for a cozy place in the library to look up a topic you never quite understood.
Setting the books on the table, the wooden table creaked because of the weight while you were looking at the stack of romantic novels and encyclopedias in front of you with frustration. Your motivation started to leave you before you had even started. Did you really have to read all of them to understand this single topic?
Plopping down on the wooden chair you reached for the first book on top of the stack and read th

Two different worlds (Armin x Reader) BONUS
Slowly blinking your eyes, you looked around at your surroundings.
“Where am I?” you mumbled to yourself.
You were currently standing in the middle of a dirt road, in what looked like to be an extremely old fashioned street. There were stands around you of people selling fish and other sorts of supplies. People walked passed you and stared at your clothes, as if they have never seen anything like them before.
(F-F/N), is that you?” a voice called out. You turned your head and saw a face you never thought you would see in real life again.
“Armin?”
The blonde came running to you in his full military uniform.
