You stood in front of the corporal's office, you're face was set in a calm expression. Soldiers running everywhere as they prepared for the other trainees' arrival. You turned around and walked onward, leaving the huge building and set out for the training grounds outside. A loud shriek brought you back to your senses, Keith Shadis, the man in charge of the trainees, seemed to be intimidating the trainees of the 1st batch, in other words the trainees who arrived first.

"Is that what you call a salute? There's barely enough spine in it! Will you work just as sloppy for humanity? Idiot!" He twisted his two knuckles, sandwiching the unlucky trainee's head. You shook your head and sighed, checking the watch wrapped around your wrist.

"5 minutes huh..." You looked up into the clear blue sky, a soft breeze blowing by as you walked towards the 2nd batch's holding area, where the trainees are gathered before they are brought to the training grounds to begin their 'Rite of Passage'. A fancy way of calling Keith Shadis' method of assessing the trainees. And this included shouting,intimidation,shrieking and possible fear in some trainees.

You greeted the soldiers that stood on guard, you stayed as Rivaille's helper for so long most of the soldier's already knew you, if not you may have seem familiar to them in some way. A brunette woman stood in front of the now growing crowd, her smile growing as she noticed you walking towards her.

"Oh, ____!!! There you are! I've been looking all over for you! Where have you been?" You walked towards the brunette and put a hand behind your head sheepishly.

"I'm sorry Captain Hanji, the Corporal's been strict with me today even though I've been released from being his 'tiny little helper'." You giggled a bit before looking around to see the huge crowd that gathered.

"I'm surprised a lot wanted to join...even though they know of how terrifying the titans could be..." You felt as though you could hear the titan's long arms scraping onto the wooden floor, the smell of blood rising from the ground and a sickening smell of the dead. You shook your head and rid yourself of the thought.

"A-Anyways...I'm going back to my line okay?" You pointed towards the group of trainees.

"But I think that it's because of that fear that they fight..." Hanji nodded and you turned to walk towards the line, the chatters and laughter of the trainees filled the air. You walked past a group of them, a familiar voice talking.

"...I'm telling you, Armin...Mikasa. I'll kill every one of those Titans! We're going to the outside world!" Your eyes widened, you turned around and your _e/c_ orbs met turquoise, you turned away as quickly as your eyes met. But a tight grip on your wrist made you turn around and face the brunette.

"You're _____.....aren't you?" You turned away the moment he spoke. _h/c_ bangs covering your eyes. Mikasa and Armin watched as you tried released yourself from the brunette's grip but to no success.

"Let me go..." You said in mere whisper. Why is it that of all the people you could have met why did the first have to be Eren? The grip on your wrist however got stronger, the opposite of what you really wanted to happen.

"No..I'm not letting you go until you answer me. I'm not letting go again!" You winced as you felt pain from his tight grip. You remained silent, not looking at the brunette's determined turquoise eyes.

"Didn't she tell you to let go?" A stern voice called as he released you from the brunette's grip. You looked up into the man's eyes, surprised to find sharp blue eyes staring back.

"Corporal Rivaille!"
